Der Stirlingmotor h\u00e4ufig auch f\u00e4lschlicherweise als Sterling-Motor bezeichnet, verwendete Luft als Arbeitsmedium und vermied damit das Explosionsrisiko der Kessel der damaligen Dampfmaschinen. Im Gegensatz zu den \u00fcblichen Otto- und Diesel-Motoren findet beim Stirling-Motor keine interne Verbrennung statt. Er wird lediglich durch Zufuhr von externer W\u00e4rme betrieben und ist daher zur Ausnutzung jeglicher W\u00e4rmequellen geeignet. Diese Eigenschaft ist es, die den Stirling-Motor heute bei der Suche nach alternativen Energietechniken wieder interessant macht. In den achtziger Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts wurden von Prof. I. Kolin (Universit\u00e4t Zagreb), Prof. J. Senft (Universit\u00e4t of Wisconsin) und anderen erstmals Stirling-Maschinen realisiert, die durch Temperaturdifferenzen im Bereich von ca. 20 Grad Celsius und darunter angetrieben werden konnten.\r\nUnsere Stirling-Modelle und -Baus\u00e4tze sind inspiriert von diesen Ideen und demonstrieren eindrucksvoll die Umwandlung von Licht und W\u00e4rme in mechanische Bewegungsenergie. Unsere Heissluft Motoren werden angetrieben von Licht (Sonne oder Lampe), Teelicht oder Niedertemperatur-W\u00e4rmequellen wie z.B.
