Cardboard Steamengine Kit

A steam engine as a cardboard kit that is powered by really boiling steam. This model is not only beautiful to look at, it also functions beautifully.

The kettle made of corrosion-resistant aluminum has a magnetic pressure relief valve, the fire from 5 tea lights is shielded by a galvanized wire mesh and the steam is passed through a closed hose and foil system and released into the open air via a chimney. The power development remains modest, but so does the safety-relevant boiler pressure.

The kit includes 8 pre-cut and printed DIN A4 sheets made of construction cardboard, detailed construction instructions and extensive accessories such as aluminum parts, wire mesh, magnet, chipboard, disposable syringes and various small parts
