The H2 Ready-to-go case offers the entire range of current fuel cell technology for teaching. The solar-hydrogen cycle can be represented and examined using a solar module, electrolyzer and fuel cell. On the other hand, all components can also be analyzed individually in detail in chemistry and physics lessons. Functionality, efficiency and characteristics of the electrolyser and fuel cell are just a few topics. With the included consumer modules such as the motor and light bulb, simple introductory tests are also possible for students aged 12 and over. In addition to the PEM fuel cell (PEM = polymer electrolyte membrane), a methanol fuel cell is included, which uses methane as fuel instead of hydrogen and is therefore of great practical relevance. With the removable PEM fuel cell, which is also included, experiments can be carried out with different membranes or a comparison of the operation of the fuel cell with air and hydrogen as well as oxygen and hydrogen. True to the ready-to-go product philosophy, all additional equipment for experimentation is contained in a sturdy aluminum case.
